Globe Trade Services is a full service U.S. customs broker & freight forwarder, providing logistics management, warehousing/distribution, trade consulting & import/export services to companies engaged in international trade.
Globe Trade is headquartered in Otay Mesa, San Diego, California approximately 2 blocks away from the Otay Mesa U.S. Port of Entry on the Mexican border.
Globe Trade was established in early 2005 by Roberto Gallegos, after having spent a decade as the corporate licensed customs broker for the brokerage division of a major Japanese electronics company. In that position Mr. Gallegos, who obtained his broker license in early 1994 (license No. 1416), gained valuable experience in many aspects of international trade such as NAFTA rules of origin, maquiladora program, assembly programs, textile, reconciliations, FDA, Mexican customs, customs compliance etc.
Mr. Gallegos envisioned a brokerage firm that would fulfill the needs of those companies that often do not receive the personal service and special attention they require.
Our trade services allow us to be a single-source provider for our customers' import/export needs.
